A catch-all feature that is enabled for a specific mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to email addresses that do not actually exist. To state it differently, if you remove an email address and someone still sends a message to it, or to any mistyped email address under the same domain, you will get the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason, which could be essential in case you are running some company, for example. Since you may start receiving junk messages, you can combine the catch-all functionality with email filters in order to get only authentic email messages in your inbox. Only one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Website Hosting

Creating a catch-all email mailbox will be extremely easy if you have a shared website hosting with our company. You can activate the feature through our powerful, yet easy-to-work-with Email Manager, which is an integral part of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you’ll manage your web hosting account. You will see all the mailboxes that you have created displayed alphabetically and next to each one there will be a small-size "Catch-all" icon, which will quickly show you if a certain mailbox gets all the email messages for a given domain name or not. With one click on the icon you can enable or disable this feature whenever you want. In case there’s enabled email forwarding or if another mailbox has already been set up as a catch-all one for a specific domain, you’ll get a notification from our system. The latter will not disable/replace anything automatically and without your consent.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

The in-house created Hepsia Control Panel that comes with each semi-dedicated server plan that we are offering will permit you to configure a catch-all e-mailbox without any difficulties even if you don’t have much web/email hosting experience. All it takes to accomplish that is to click the catch-all icon, which will be on the right-hand side of each mailbox that you’ve set up using your domain names in the Email Manager section of the Control Panel. Since you can have just one single mailbox with this feature per domain name, our system will let you know if you have already configured a different catch-all mailbox or if the one that you’d like to use has email forwarding enabled. If you reach the decision that you do not need this feature any longer, you can turn it off by clicking once again on the very same icon. The Email Manager section will also permit you to view your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
